There is nothing like the Taste where you can sample from 35 different Chicago restaurants all in one place.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sintelsystems.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/138012111-1.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-5834\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sintelsystems.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/138012111-1-300x214.jpg\" alt=\"138012111 (1)\" width=\"300\" height=\"214\" \/><\/a>The Taste of Chicago began in July 4<sup>th<\/sup>, 1980. They were expecting 75,000 people for the one-day event, but they could have never imagined 250,000 people would show up. The event grossed $330,000 in food and soda sales and it only lasted one day!<\/p>\n<p>The Taste of Chicago is now one of the largest tourist attractions in Illinois. Of course the crowd favorites <a href=\"http:\/\/www.elicheesecake.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Eli&#8217;s Cheesecake<\/a> , <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rainbowcone.com\/\">Original Rainbow Cone<\/a> , <a href=\"http:\/\/www.conniespizza.com\/\">Connie&#8217;s Pizza<\/a> \u00a0and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.goldcoastdogs.net\/site\/index.html\">Gold Coast Dogs<\/a> will be in attendance.<\/p>\n<p>But look out for some newcomers like <a href=\"http:\/\/bombayspice.com\/\">Bombay Spice Grill &amp; Wine<\/a> , <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flipcrepes.com\/\">Flip Crepes<\/a> , <a href=\"http:\/\/www.laomalarestaurant.com\/\">Lao Ma La Chinese <\/a>\u00a0and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wishbonechicago.com\/\">Wishbone Restaurant<\/a> .<\/p>\n<p>All day 30 different Chicago bands will play at the Bud Light Stage such as Mingo Fishtrap, The Company of Thieves and Kelly Hogan just to name a few. While you enjoy amazing food, you also get to listen to great music. What can be better?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cityofchicago.org\/city\/en\/depts\/dca\/supp_info\/taste_of_chicago.html\">The Taste of Chicago<\/a> \u00a0will take place at Grant Park (Jackson and Columbus) on July 10- 14<sup>th<\/sup> from 11am-9pm each day, with ticket sales ending at 8:30.
