Spice of Life Tours: Food and Culture Walking Tour

There are so many wonderful things about living in a city: things to do, variety of cuisine and an exciting nightlife just to name a few.

Beyond that, the greatest part about living in a large metropolitan area is the amount of different cultures one can be exposed too.  When most people travel to Chicago they make sure to stop in Chinatown, but what about the Little India Neighborhood in Chicago?

On the far North Side of the city on Devon Avenue is where you can be immersed in the sights and smells of India.

If you are a huge fan of South Asian Food or have never tried it before, this weekend why not take part in the Spice of Life Tours: Food and Culture Walking Tour. On the tour you get to visit at least four different restaurants as well as getting to learn about the neighborhoods architecture, history and entertainment.

The tour lasts for 2 ½ hours and some of the highlights are a visit to a Sikh Temple, a traditional yoga demonstration and of course the tasting of food specialties from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

The tour takes place this Saturday and Sunday at 11:30 am and tickets cost $65.
