mcdonaldDue to falling sales McDonald’s has begun testing some new ideas in order to restore the fast food giant’s brand.

Customers take their order from touchscreen Tablet POS systems at the front of the store than find a table and await for their meal.

Proven highly successful in many locations throughout Australia, France, and Germany the quick service burger chain has decided to bring it home. Currently 50 locations are being tested.

The experiment aims to bring “an exciting new environment and improve the customer experience.”

The new model allow customers greater customization. Customers can choose from a variety of cheeses, buns, and toppings to create their perfect burger.

Facing tough competition from various better burger and healthier option chains, McDonald’s is in desperate need of change.

CEO, Steve Easterbrook, declared the chain would begin a turnaround plan starting with the quality of their food. Rumors of adding kale to some of their menu items have spread and a lettuce bun burger has been released in Australia.
